My BF2142 cant be found by my windows xp and wont autorun although my BF2 among other cds will and neither will my GFs copy of BF2142. Ive done everything from Hkey to Msconfig to unistalling my dvdrw drive and it still wont read it but what it does is even wierder! When I insert it i see on my Zonealarm monitor access to the net then i see the windows download update icon for a few secs while the hourglass and cd rom light is blinking then the icon goes away and my cdrom stops working. CDrom well my DVDrw drive never spins up. Ive also used system restore to no avail. Why wont windows xp even show i have a cd in the drive so i can atleast browse the cd for the setup.exe Im confused can any1 help me? Again i believe ive tried all of the above ideas.
