I recently had this proble: spoolsv.exe in the task manager was eating upto 99% of
my CPU. I am using Windows XP. I figured that there was a job queued up at microsoft
office document image writer. Dleteing the job quickly resolved my problem. You can
access this by start->control panel -> Printers & other hardwares -> printers and
faxes -> microsoft office document image writer. It showed a job queued on it.
Right clicking on it will give you option to delete the pending job.
