IE 7 and Links Icons Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 4:33 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Norm (1426 messages posted) I just updated to IE 7 and wondering if anyone knows why the Icons for links will not allow you to select a Icon file on your local disk. I have some that I created and like to use. As soon as you click on a Links Icon it defaults back to the standard IE icon. The only ones that seem to stick are the Websites that supply a Favicon. They used to stay with IE 6. Any ideas or suggestions to try? Thanks a bunch!!
