If so, real time protection isn't nearly as vital as if you were using IE. Spybot S&D offers real time protection with Tea Timer, or SpywareGuard uses very little memory and that's it's sole purpose. As was mentioned you could add SpywareBlaster, but it doesn't actually provide real time monitoring in that sense.
