Compaq laptop dead Friday, November 24, 2006 at 3:47 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Cecil Waddle (2 messages posted) Have a Compaq laptop, an "Armada".It operates off an Ac adapter with 18.5dc volts.Every thing was fine untill an Ac adapter with 4.5volts Dc was used by mistake. Unit went dead now nothing.Took off the keypad didn't find a fuse or anything.Used reset button still nothing.Anyone help me? Thx,Cecil.
