I have a satellite internet connection (broadband supposedly) and when I run a speed test for download and upload speeds I come up with 325 kbps download and 86 kbps upload. This test was performed by a utility available with Network Magic (which I use for my three comps in my home-all with XP), but I was wondering if XP had a more reliable testing process for determining these speeds. My results seem to be very very slow for a broadband connection although web pages seem to load very quickly as do downloads from internet sites. Maybe the test is just bogus. Any ideas how to test these speeds correctly?? Thanks ahead of time
