Download and Upload speeds verrrry slooow Friday, November 24, 2006 at 7:15 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jerry (70 messages posted) I have a satellite internet connection (broadband supposedly) and when I run a speed test for download and upload speeds I come up with 325 kbps download and 86 kbps upload. This test was performed by a utility available with Network Magic (which I use for my three comps in my home-all with XP), but I was wondering if XP had a more reliable testing process for determining these speeds. My results seem to be very very slow for a broadband connection although web pages seem to load very quickly as do downloads from internet sites. Maybe the test is just bogus. Any ideas how to test these speeds correctly??
