Windows XP reports larger disk size than BIOS

I installed a 200GB ATA-100 drive in a system with an older PIII motherboard (pulled from an IBM PC 300GL). System BIOS reports drive as 137 GB, which makes me think the BIOS doesn't support 48 bit LBA (BIOS version is from July 2002). A fresh install of WIN XP w/SP2 shows a more correct 186gb formatted capacity though. The drive is on the Motherboard's IDE connector (not a separate controller), so I'm not sure why Windows is reporting larger capacity than the hardware reports in BIOS. Makes me wonder if my data is stable, and if so, do I really have 186 GB available? Anybody else seen this before? Thanks, Mark
