(3 messages posted) About a week ago through Windows updates I downloaded IE7. Whilst installing, system shut down and kept trying to restart. Finally managed to get up & running with Safe Mode & system restore. The pc will operate O'k except when using certain "protection" programs: A virus scan with AGV and BSOD appears Page__Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area. (stop error 050). Run Hijackthis and the same issue. Also same when immunizing Spybot downloads and a regsistry scan with Super66. No problem with a McAffee scan or Adaware. I did manage a Hijackthis scan in safe mode. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. There are presently no replies to this message.
