Thanks, outof pocket. I have checked quite a few of those references on the net.
I haven't run across any yet which give me any info as to how to get beyond the We
Apologize screen. Some refer to a special recovery disk of some sort but not the
original HP recovery disks. Your warning about making sure the data is not lost is
well taken. That is my biggest concern.
