Empty Device Manager fixed at last! Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 8:02 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Jessie (1 messages posted) Hi, I've been pretty much a lerker here after experiencing problems of a slow loading up of the my computer window, device manager not showing anything, network cards disappearing and also missing a regedit.exe file. I tried absolutely everything and nothing worked because my regedit file was missing. So I had to download someone elses copy of their regedit.exe file. Once I had done that, all it took was changing the permissions setting in the enum folder of the registry for everything to work again! Just want to thank everyone for the advice and support.
