I have the same difficulty. I use headphones to listen to music while working, the
PC speaker is also playing the music. There are NUMEROUS devices/codecs loaded,
and I suspect the problem lies in some inconsistancy with them, but can't offer a
real solution. However. since it seems to come and go, perhaps the old standard
windows answer.. "REBOOT", may offer some relief.
