Hi there ,
Well actually I was also encountering this problem so when I went to the services
window and highligted the Messenger service it clearly mentioned that this service
is not related to the Windows Messenger service. This is what is described the process
as :
"Transmits net send and Alerter service messages between clients and servers. This
service is not related to Windows Messenger. If this service is stopped, Alerter
messages will not be transmitted. If this service is disabled, any services that
explicitly depend on it will fail to start. "
So I guess we should not consider disabling or stopping this particualr Messenger
services if we want to stop the msmsgs.exe from loading up with Windows.
Thank You.
