Thankyou Paul, very much indeed
This "annoyance" gave us a very trying day at this business in France.
The address book was removed by windows 98SE cleanup. Reactivating it using Control
Panel did not succeed at first; the accessory still would not run.
I also found the microsoft Windows 98SE download site has a few updates (despite
the note that it is discontinued) which I also downloaded and ran.
I upgraded Office XP for small business SB
http://office.microsoft.com/fr-fr/downloads/maincatalog.aspx
three times (note it's the France version), each time the autosystemexamination and
autoupdate added a dozen or so updates (needs the OfficeXP SB CD even if using the
fullversion downloads - to find the SBERET.msi file). I reboot twice after each
and at the third update . . . Voila! as we say here. Outlook XP for small business
running again with 98SE.
Thankyou for being so kind as to note your experience here. From everyone here.
Bonjour.
