After XP is installed, go to Control Panel, System, click the hardware tab and then the Device Manager button. Check for devices with a yellow mark. These are devices for which you still need to install drivers (i.e., modem, network interface card, etc). If the PC is still bootable now, go to Control Panel and note the devices so you'll be better prepared to find drivers.
