Hey everybody I'm Pam from Michigan, I'm new here so I hope I'm posting this properly
and in the right place. Here's my problem.
When turning on my IBM Thinkpad I get this message-PXE-E61: Media Test Failure, Pxe-MOF:-Exiting
Intel PXE Rom>operating system not found. If I turned it off and on a few times
it would usually let me into windows. I bought the laptop used and they didn't have
the recovery or restore discs.
The big problem=my husband decided to fix it by trying to put his Nobilis Windows
XP home on The IBM Thinkpad. Of course that didn't work but now I can't get into
my Thinkpad windows xp pro at all.
Now it gets scarier, I don't know what he's done now but the system goes through
like it's going to boot(I couldn't read it all it went too fast) then came the initializing
____boot agent(I'm not sure what the blank was as it flashed and went away so quickly)
then a black screen saying Operating system not found.
Please someone help me before my husband kills my computer. Thanks,
Pam
