Hi, 

You will find that the file you are trying to play is a wmv file - check to be sure. 
 Then try to play another wmv file to be sure that it is related.
If after trying a second one and you still have no audio then the solution lies in 
the registry.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ NodeCLSIDs\{95037DA1-6ED9-4B27-8CFF-9AD3DFB0B2F2}]

And I had to change the AutoInsert value from 1 to 0...

"AutoInsert"=dword:00000000

Before the fix it was "AutoInsert"=dword:00000001
