msconfig

Hi I am running XP Home SP2 . I have a problem with the hope you can offer me assistance. I have a separate floppy (Seagate) which I plug into my USB port. It has been working great --until now. I was making bootup disks and managed to copy two when I heard a grinding sound, and the floppy stopped working. I went to the Help and Support Section and this is the message: "The device\Device\ Hard Disk0\ has a bad block" If anyone can tell me how to unblock this, I would be grateful. Many thanks

Thanks in advance
