re: sound device error Friday, May 4, 2007 at 8:25 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by JD (1 messages posted) I'm running windows XP SP2 on a pioneer 8000dx laptop. lost all sound when undoing a system restore while trying to fix another problem (locked files) that has since been resolved. uninstalling doesn't work, neither does ven's suggestions. I have plug-n-play enumerator, and device manager says its working properly any ideas?
