I have a question about Bypass the "Connect To" Dialog Box:

Although I didn't see any comment about turning on autodial, the article does not caution users about the risk of having autodial turned on. There are malware programs, known as rogue dialers, that will make the computer automatically dial whatever number is programmed into it. Commonly, those are overseas numbers. If autodial is turned on and the user leaves their computer on when unattended, they risk their computer dialing such a number and incurring telephone bills in the thousands of dollars. Therefore, it is highly recommended that autodial remain turned off.
