Hi Poppy. One method I use to do something similar is by using the freeware rjhExtensions
this puts several options in your right-click menu (any you don't require can easily
be de-selected) One of the options is 'duplicate file here' which (as the name suggests)
duplicates the selected file in the same folder by modifying the name slightly. Hope
