inbox emails drop out

My outlook emails drop out of the inbox soon after I receive them. I have discovered
that they end up in the Recover Deleted Items listing in the Tools menu. When I
recover them to the inbox from there, they soon drop out and find their way back
to the Recover Deleted Items again.
Does anyone have any experience or solution to this problem? Outlook works fine
in all other respects.
