EXE files are not opened with a program. They are self executing. If their extension
has been changed to something else, then you have to change it back for them to work,
as they can't be opened with another program to run them. The only apps that can
open them are code editors for their particular code type for editing/programming.
You may have to explain a little more in detail what has happened and exactly what
the names of the files are, or were supposed to be.
All you should have to do is click/double click on an EXE to run it. If it brings
up a dialog to "open with", the extension is either wrong, (as in it isn't a real
EXE or is an EXE but has the wrong extension on it), or the file is corrupted.
