If you are worried about XP vs Vista and you are really happy with XP, look for a
laptop with XP (home or pro). You can still get them. I bought one from Dell about
a month ago with XP home and it cost me about $700 total. No issues with Vista to
deal with this way. My other computers are XP home so they all network without having
to do heroic things. I'm happy and this will last me until Vista has all the bugs
worked out and is accepted like XP. Or, if it turns out Vista isn't the latest and
greatest, I don't have to worry with it.
Just my penny's worth...
