had to run a legit trojan cleaner to remove a spyware problem that, as warned, deleted my desktop tab when i try to set display preferences.

This is a work computer, running xp pro, and while I don't have the copy of xp used to load the machine, i do have a copy of xp pro.

is there a way to any kind of file repair or reinstall simply for the desktop bmps and associated files?

my hope is to be able to repair without needing a windows reinstall. The only problem is a solid blue desktop, as opposed to an image, so it is not the end of the world if it can't be fixed (just annoying..:)..)
