VERY IMPORTANT: you need to be logged in using an administrator account to make these
changes.
1. Dbl click "System" in control Panel to get the "System Properties" box.
2. Click the "Advanced" tab in this box.
3. In this tab, in the "Performance" section, click "Settings" button. This will
produce another box named "Performance Options". This has 3 tabs.
4. Select the "Visual Effects" tab. (it is usually preselcted)
5. This tab has a white box in lower half containg a list with tiny square boxes
in front.
6. Scroll down this list and "Check" (click on the tiny box till a tick mark appears
within the square box.
That's it.
