You all do it the hard way. If you just want the icon off the desktop then right
click on the desktop, go to properties, choose desktop tab, customize desktop, clean
desktop now, start the wizard, click the bluetooth checkbox tab and apply the changes.
It'll put the icon in a folder on the desktop. Delete the folder and its gone.
