CRC Error!?

I had been troubled by this for weeks now and i still do not know exactly where the problem really lies. I had changed a new motherboard (ABIT KN9 Ultra) and this problem start appearing. I can't install anything as long as the media that stored the software is a CD/DVD cos a crc error will pop up somewhere along the way. I tried cleaning the disc and even went into the trouble of changing the drive but the problem still persist. I'm now suspecting somewhere in the motherboard fault lies. I'm not sure, and I'm too wary to make sure... I'm really running out of ideas here, can u guys give me a hand?
