Try OPHCRACK, free from http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

The "live CD" will boot a PC, outside of XP, then try to read the encrypted passwords
and then decode them using something called rainbow tables.

Note that this software with finite rainbow tables will not decode all passwords,
but can get many of them. Short passwords have a better chance than long ones.

It runs in about 2 minutes on a 2.5 GHz Pentium 4 with 1 Gig or RAM.

Good luck.
