It is bulky with all the wires, and takes unneeded power. I'll try another wireless card, I guess that is the answer. As far as security is concerned, someone is just as likely to hack into that as my PC. I have windows firewall. There are so many exposures, this is just one more (example, many of the zero-day exploits allow people on a web-site you've visited to collect info on your PC, or install a root kit, this bit about someone coming in on my home computer is the least of my worries).
