Doesn't work that way on my computer. Here is a dir of the root of C:, it's sorted
alphabetically by name.
C:\>dir
Volume in drive C is HP_C
Volume Serial Number is 6021-F905
Directory of C:\

As I said, the create date is the order in which the files were written to disk.
Can't be anything else.
