blank screen flashing Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 6:37 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Tex (98 messages posted) been having all sorts of trouble with my computer. i had a 8500gt video card, everything seemed to work fine but everytime i tried to do anything remotely video intensive (game or even watch an mpeg) it used to freeze or crash. I removed the video card and tried with on-board and this seemed to fix it so i presumed a faulty card and was going to replace, but after a week i now have the monitor just going black every 30 seconds or so for about 5 seconds even when just trying to look at pictures or use the web. this is a new occurrance but i can't help but think it is related.
