been having all sorts of trouble with my computer. i had a 8500gt video card, everything seemed to work fine but everytime i tried to do anything remotely video intensive (game or even watch an mpeg) it used to freeze or crash. I removed the video card and tried with on-board and this seemed to fix it so i presumed a faulty card and was going to replace, but after a week i now have the monitor just going black every 30 seconds or so for about 5 seconds even when just trying to look at pictures or use the web. this is a new occurrance but i can't help but think it is related. Any suggestions. ps i have updated antivirus (avg) i use spybot kerio firewall system is amd 6000+ gigabyte ga-m61pm-s2 rev 2.0 motherboard 2gb 667 kingston ram 320 gb seagate hdd
