Hello. I have random program folders that when i click them i get the error, "Access is Denied." The folder says its empty, but i know for a fact it isn't. I remembered this happened with my AIM folder and once i got the ownership, all the contents of the folder magically appeared. However, i am having trouble getting ownership of this folder. And for some reason the security tab isnt showing. How do i get rid of this? I am very confused because i am the admin and i dont have any other users on my computer and i still get this message. i tried following this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/810881) guide but when i get down to number 3. Click the Security tab, and then click OK on the Security message, if one appears. There is no security tab.... Please help. Why is this happening? and how do i know this wont happen again? Can i apply this to every single folder? i have windows xp on a dell inspiron 600m.
