System Restore

I accidentally deleted a program today and used Windows system restore hoping to retrieve it. I've use restore before and I always get "There have been no changes" when in fact there have been changes, I was hoping for different results this time. Any help to going back a few days and getting the deleted program (no disc) would be appreciated. Cory
