Go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts. Select your account and from there you can
set/change/delete a password, change the picture etc. Unfortunately though, many
people just leave it at that and think they're safe. There is also a built in Administrator
account in XP that's "hidden" so to speak. If someone boots your machine into Safe
Mode that account will be revealed and they will have full access to the machine.
So, after you set your main account password and reboot to make sure it works and
gives you access, reboot into Safe Mode and set a DIFFERENT password for the built
in Administrator account as well. Be sure you write them BOTH down and keep them
in a safe place.
