hi..just reformatted my HD...trying to get eevrything back to the way it was..going
good...interent and network are working fine...however my network icon is missing
from the system tray..

I installed the drivers for my network card, and unchecked the "hide inactive icons"
box in the taskbar properties..do I have to do something to make the icon show in
the taskbar?

this is the first time I have formatted this particular computer, but I have formatted
others and have never had this problem...of course all of my others are wireless...this
one is ethernet..so I dunno

it is a dell dimension 3000 with windows xp sp2 and an intel PRO network card, (ethernet,
not wireless)

can someone answer this for me???
