I remember using a fix like that in Windows ME or 98, but it applied only to the start menu. I very specifically want to prevent the Explorer context menu's "Send to..." submenu from being loaded into memory, if possible. This frequently causes all programs and the operating system to hang on my laptop. This might aslo provide a nearly invisible performance boost.
