Also, xp can do autologon. If you go to start>>run and type in control userpasswords2
(notice the space between), it will bring up the accounts on the pc.
Create
a password for the user account you want logged in automatically (and keep a record
of it) highlight the user you want to autologin and uncheck the box that says users
must enter a password....next boot up it will still bypass the screen but there is
now a password on the account.
