.NET Framework is not required to connect to the Internet. It may be required by
the software you installed for your ISP though. How do you connect to the internet?
Do you use Dial-up, DSL or Cable and who is your provider.
I would uninstall ALL their software then reboot and reinstall it, see if that
resolves the issue.
