im thinkin bout installin the linux on the same HDD and then access the files throu linux and then move it to safe location then format it. the reason to do this is the fact that ive protected it via "windows private user" option and even if i plug this hdd to different machine as slave it ll gonna say "protected cant acces" or something like that so i think installin linux would fix it.
