Say u have 1 HDD split 3-6 ways.......C+d.e.f.g.h.i.j etc....
Aslong as when reinstalling WinXP, during install it asks you where to install it.
Choose "C" and only C , should be in the clear.
Choose Format C to wipe C which had WinXP installed anyway, and reinstall on C drive/Partition.
