hi, some of my friends have reported a very a strange problem, which has been prevailing over the past couple of weeks.the problem is that when they try to shutdown their systems, the shutdown takes a lot of time to initiate ans when it does, it halts at the screen showing "Windows is shutting down..." and after that the hard disk goes idle. the only way to close the system is to switch off the power. what could be the problem? almost 5 -6 ppl have been affected by this, and no possible solution hasn't been figured out as yet. plz help!!!!
