You're welcome. It may be best to disable AVG's protection first and clear all your 
temp folders. 

They also have a Java based scanner, which can be used with other browsers as well 
as IE. That's the one I use. In addition to a full system scan, you can choose to 
scan only specific folders.

Either way, once the files are downloaded, you'll get a prompt to accept the program 
installation before the scan starts.
