DVD drive

The machine is a Fujitsu N5010. The cd drive is a Toshiba DVD_ROM SDR6112F. After
re-formatting this machine the drive cannot read a known good DVD. The drive will
record under other software. Fujitsu support has all the drivers for the internal
hardware but no drivers for this or any other DVD platforms. Does this This Toshiba
platform require a driver and if so where can I get it. Thanks, John
