Your video card would have to support this.  Some do; some don't.   Right-click on 
your desktop somewhere where there is no icon.   Choose Properties, then the Settings 
tab.   Drag the monitors to match the physical arrangement of your monitors, check 
"Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor," and then follow the instructions presented 
onscreen.
