To see the results of chkdsk /f
Your problem is that you're typing chkdsk /f directly into the Run window.
Instead, do this:
Press the Start button. Select Run. In the window, type:
cmd
Then, you'll get a DOS-like window, with a command prompt.
type the chkdsk /f command to the command prompt. The window will stay open as chkdsk
executes, and you can see the results.
