As Ricer said, it probably just croaked. They're cheaply built devices that are being
given away in cereal boxes nowadays, but just for the heck of it try reformatting
it and see if it works again. If it does, there's no guarantee how long it will work,
so don't store anything essential on it. Otherwise, chuck it and get a new one...
