i used to record alot of vids of me singing from my cam but now, after installing
sp2 a few months ago im no longer able to have fun with my cam. in windows movie
maker i get "class not registered", in creative webcam center it says unable to capture
video blah blah blah.
heres what i've tried ....
updating directx
reinstalling both movie maker and webcam center and my cam itself.
running a batch file to re-register certain dll's for this very problem.
uninstalling codec bundles...
i've tried several times over the months to fix this issue and after hours and hours
just end up giving up.
i have searched and searched for an answer and though re-registering the dll's works
for alot of the people with this same problem it just doesnt work for me.
i figure it must have something to do with the registry (doesnt everything). i just
dont know what to look for or where to look for it. i really dont know what else
to do except reinstall windows :( anybody know anything that might be the cause of
this? im close to pulling my hair out.
