hello, when i found this topic i thougth finnaly i would find a solution for my slow
logon pc problem, i tried all the suggestions, got no luck :( .
So here´s my problem, when i enter my password(or click a user) to enter in windows
, theres a delay in "loading your default settings" that previous wasn´t there ,
lets say +- 20, 30 sec (before was jusr 1 or 2 ), then when i can see the desktop
, the navbar is like "locked" , its blue for another 5, 10 secs , and after taht
i can finally start working. I´ve done all the hijjack, msconfig , vundofix , theres
nothing suspecious there, in fact i leave the startup only for free AVG , sygate
firewall, printers drivers and nvidia graphic card drivers, nothing else is on stratup
, i tried to reboot with nothing on startup too and no luck either..
there´s other thing that start it to be diferent, the windows xp boot logo (the black
boot logo) appears only the half time that used to appear, then only a black screen
appear , after maybe 10 secs appears the mouse cursor , then the blue screen saying
"windows is loading , and then the users accounts, before theres wasn´t this black
screen .
i had my computer infected with w32.virut and i run avast , avg, spybot, spy doctor
, combofix , adware lavasoft and got a lot of files removed infected with this virut
virus
but thi slow logon problem remains,..
maybe i will have to format and do a clean install, im just checking all the possibilities
..
thanks.
