In order to get a Vista Experience score of 4.5 or better, the computer you want
to buy should have a dual core processor, at least 2GB of RAM, and at least 256MB
of video RAM (preferably on a discreet video card).
As with most things in life, the bigger your budget the happier you will be with
the new computer.
If you have peripherals like a printer or scanner that won't work with Vista, just
get a new Vista compatible peripheral---they're cheap enough.
