Would it solve your problem if the user were allowed to make any changes they wanted,
delete files, modify settings, etc., but the computer would revert everything to
some baseline every time the user logged off? In other words, no changes made by
the user would "stick" after the user logged off?
If so, there are a number of solutions, some even free, that would take care of this
for you.
